Launched in 2012 by Dr. Christine Ward-Paige, eOceans was created to streamline her research, including projects like the Great Fiji Shark Count, eShark, eManta, and Shark Sanctuary evaluation.
Frustrated with how slow it was to collect and process data, Dr. Ward-Paige developed an app with automated tools to speed up the process and improve the experience for citizen scientists. Now, with its invention patent, eOceans allows scientists, NGOs, consultants, fisheries, and educators to log data once and instantly share it globally.
By joining eOceans, you’ll help unlock over $291 billion in potential and enable teams to work more efficiently. Collaborate with Christine and other experts to transform ocean research and protection.
